Who We Are
Who We Are
Prime Oceans is an independent maritime advisory and project execution firm working across newbuildings, vessel transactions, chartering, ship finance and complex strategic situations.
We operate at the intersection of legal, commercial, financial, technical and operational decision-making.
Mandates are structured around the transaction or project. Prime Oceans brings together the appropriate technical, engineering, financial, legal, shipyard-supervision, classification and local specialists according to the requirements of each situation.
The team is built around the mandate rather than the mandate being fitted to a standing advisory structure.
Our measure of success is not a recommendation delivered, but a transaction closed, a project delivered or a situation resolved.
Senior Industry Experience
Prime Oceans works with senior maritime professionals with established careers in shipping, ship management, shipbuilding, finance and complex project execution.
Our wider project capability includes former managing directors, CEOs, senior executives and specialist professionals from leading maritime organisations, brought into mandates according to the requirements of each situation.
This provides clients with access to people who have operated at senior decision-making level and who also understand the practical realities of executing maritime transactions and projects.
Independent Judgment
Some situations require more than conventional advisory support.
Prime Oceans can enter an existing transaction or project, understand what is preventing it from moving forward, challenge the existing approach where appropriate and help establish and implement a viable solution.
This may involve transaction restructuring, stakeholder alignment, negotiation strategy, project governance, escalation support or direct involvement at critical stages.
Tell us the situation.
Whether it is a transaction, a newbuilding, a chartering or financing issue, a strategic decision or a situation without an obvious solution, contact Prime Oceans directly.
